New year, new belts! All of our white, yellow, orange and green belt students participated in their first belt promotion of 2020. Beginner Belt promotions took place on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Ronin Martial Arts in Morris Plains, NJ. Our entire beginner Tae Kwon Do team showcased all their skills techniques in front of their loved ones and friends. Students with green and orange belts demonstrated great patience and leadership during the entire promotion ceremony. As the oldest members of class, these students are often selected to demonstrate and explain techniques for their team at promotions. These students showed they were proficient at their required techniques and even helped their younger teammates along the way. Our Confidence team, students at the yellow belt level, showed their progress since participating in their first belt promotion in the Fall of 2019. This team was ready to show off every kick and punch putting forth their black belt effort. Lastly our white belts, also known as the Power team, had the most exciting time attending their first ever Tae Kwon Do belt promotion! This team displayed great listening skills while performing all their flying kicks, forms, and board breaks with our beginner team. Our entire Black Belt Instructor Team facilitated the event and could not be more proud of this team as they graduated to their next belt in Tae Kwon Do. We can hardly wait for the next set of promotions coming in April 2020! Our program is great for students looking to improve their balance, listening skills, or even looking for a great way to use all your energy this winter season.
